The Terms and Conditions below do not affect your
statutory writes as a consumer. I will: - 1.
To the best of my ability carry out the required repairs to a
satisfactory standard using best upholstery practice. 2.
Only use the best quality materials to the required British
Standard. 3.
Call on you to effect repairs on time or will contact you to advise
otherwise. 4.
Charge the price as advertised in the press and on my answering
machine. 5.
Guarantee all repairs (see below for details). 6.
Give you a vat receipt of payment. 7.
Always be courteous and act in your best interest when repairing
your suite. 8.
Discuss with you your requirements. And give you the benefit of my
long years of experience. 9.
Give to you a repair warrantee as appropriate. You will.
1.
Keep
your appointment for repair. 2.
Advise
me in good time if you need to cancel your appointment. 3.
Pay
the call out fee of £20.00 if we make an abortive call on you because you
have not let us know that you won’t be in during the appointed time. 4.
Make
it known to the spring man exactly your requirements. 5.
Give
the spring man sufficient space to work. 6.
Secure
all dogs. 7.
Pay
the correct amount for the repair work as listed on the invoice on the
completion of works or at a time requested by the spring man. 8. Be charged 25%of the invoice value PER DAY if you cancel or bounce a cheque in payment of deposit or for works carried out. All
goods remain the property of
the Springman until paid for in full.. 9.
Not
ask me to forget the vat for cash. 10.
If
paying by cheque, offer a guarantee card of the appropriate value. Warranty
1.
All
repairs, unless stated on the sales invoice will have a one-year
guarantee. Exclusions .we only guarantee that which we replace. Please note, once a spring for example is replaced it is very unlikely to
break again within the guarantee period. More likely is that another
component has failed. I.e. .the clip or the frame please make sure that if
you wish to avoid a further repair or call out fee that this is not the
case. 2. You
may have been advised that your seating foam is too soft. And is the root
cause of your springs breaking. You may have purchased new foam. At the Springman’s
discretion you may be offered the following warranty. If
you have any further broken springs clips or frame faults under a cushions
supplied by the Springman you will, for the period of 2 years. Only be
asked to pay the advertised call out fee i.e. £20.00 .any further
costs will be born by the Springman. (Only zigzag springs and wooden
frames apply)
